Silver Relics is a neo-psych-rock band formed by NYC-based songwriter and singer/guitarist Alex Sepassi.
Raised on the iconic British songwriters of the 1960s, Sepassi later discovered the technicolor experiments of early 1970s rock and brooding moodiness of 80s-90s indie/alt. He deftly incorporates the best of these influences while adhering to a classic “songs first” philosophy.
Following a buzz-stirring full-length album featuring Brian Young (Fountains of Wayne) on drums and Mark Crozer (Jesus and Mary Chain) on bass, Alex additionally joined forces with bassist/songwriter Garrett De Temple and drummer Hitomi Nakamura to continue traversing new musical horizons and round out his live band.
Equal parts Nirvana, The Cure, Depeche Mode, Slowdive, The Doors, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles, Silver Relics will remind you of some of your all-time favorites, but with a sound all their own.
